Lynn is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and specializes in those struggling with Anxiety & Stress as well as Eating Disorders, and body image issues in Greenville, South Carolina and the Upstate. She is also a Certified Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), an approach for changing emotions and behavior while resolving inner conflicts.
For 25 years she has helped adults, teens and children struggling with Anxiety Issues sometimes resulting in food and/or body image concerns. Common problems include anorexia, bulimia, compulsive eating, compulsive exercise, body image disturbances and sensory food aversions.
Lynn is one of the select few specialists in the Southeast both educated and experienced in Nutrition and Psychological counseling. This combination makes her an ideal fit for clients in need of a wholistic approach.
Lynn also strives to prevent eating disorders through early detection and community awareness. She is often asked to speak to professional groups, businesses, colleges and schools.
Lynn is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her Dietetic Internship in Augusta, Georgia at the Medical College of Georgia and University Hospital.
She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and obtained her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2009 and is currently under supervision in order to obtain her License in Professional Counceling. (LPC)
